MW3!? JK…For Now
It has been confirmed that the “Find Makarov: The Live Action Adaptation of Modern Warfare” video is a complete hoax. (If you haven’t seen it, check it out below.) Toronto-based marketing firm “We Can Pretend” revealed Find Makarov this morning. It is a live-action version of multiple scenes from Modern Warfare; however it was confirmed by Activision that they have no affiliation with the video. (Darn,¬† kind of in the mood for Black ops to just die out already.) This is most likely just a group of people hoping and dreaming that they can provide a very large gaming rumor that will give hope for the next game, but you never can tell. In my opinion, this could be a variety of things, including what is likely to be a publicity stunt by Activision themselves. (With the help of their avid fans in Canada.) A test of some sort, to see how many gamers out there are interested in another Modern Warfare game. If this is true, would you be as excited as I am? I cannot help but watch this video and think to myself, “maybe they would do this.” Maybe this is an idea fueled by Activision. Maybe they will make a new Modern Warfare; I can only hope so.
