Xbox Live Deals Of The Week: Oct 4th
This weeks deal’s for the Xbox Marketplace are all Arcade titles that come for card and board games. There are 5 games in all for this weeks deals, that all are 50% off. These deals are good through Oct. 10 and only good for Xbox Live Gold accounts. Three new titles hit the On-Demand Market including the original Crysis.
Bethesda still suing Mojang for “Scrolls”
There has been a lot of heated discussion revolving around who would retain rights to the trademark “Scrolls.” When I first heard the news, I didn’t think that it would even go to court. Yes, Bethesda’s games have the prefix of Elder Scrolls, but almost every gamer that I know refers to those games using their subtitles. It just didn’t seem that it would be worth the time and resources to have a legal battle, even when Mojang offered to change the name to “Scrolls: <some subtitle>” or to just completely give up the name, Bethesda still wants to sue.
It’s now unclear why Bethesda is still so persistent with their pursuit, hopefully we’ll learn more as things develop.
