We reported that Amazon Japan had cleared out its pre-order allocation of Wii U Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate bundles yesterday, but it turns out that today the two standard bundles – which are the same packages we get in the U.S. – have also run out. All before Wii U has even been offered on Amazon here in the States!
This probably says more about the volume of Wii U units that will be manufactured by launch than about demand, of course. It took a full week for these online pre-orders to sell out – and in Japan, hardware usually goes pretty swiftly if it goes at all.
