Theophany to Release Majora’s Mask Tribute Album “Time’s End” on Dec 21

You’ve met with a terrible fate, haven’t you?

You’ll hear that ominous line, spoken by the Happy Mask Salesman in The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, not only when you first set foot into Termina in your cursed Deku Scrub form, but when you fail to turn back time before the crazed moon falls. In honor of the big 2012 end of the world cult, video game remix master Theophany is set to release a Majora’s Mask tribute album this Friday, December 21, 2012. The initial release will only be one disc, but eventually the album will cover the entire soundtrack.

They’ve put up a special teaser site called “Terrible Fate: Time’s End” that shows off one of the central pieces: a remix of the song that plays during the final countdown to the end of the world.

        Honestly Jonathan, chill.

        I like Majora’s Mask, as well as Ocarina of Time. And, admittedly, when people call Majora’s Mask “better” than OoT it slightly pisses me off. That said, I’m not BENT to hate it, but I can still appreciate it for what it is.
