Here are All the Wind Waker Wii U Screenshots From Today’s Wii U Direct

Nintendo released a boat-load of new screenshots for The Wind Waker Wii U, which was announced during today’s Nintendo Direct. I’ll just let them speak for themselves – the game has converted brilliantly into HD.

      The characters strike me as a little odd-looking, but everything else looks fantastic.

    Haha, I think it is funny and ironic that GenGame did a poll of what looks best in HD, Wind Waker comes in last, and then gets announced for an HD remake! I just think it is funny that nobody was asking for this, and that is what they deliver. All the same it looks absolutely incredible and will probably bring a lot of new players to this entry.

    This made my day. I completed part of my English exam with a slight smile on my face because I couldn’t stop thinking about how much I can’t wait to play this. If Zelda Wii U gets delayed, they better do the same with Twilight Princess, haha.

    And I still want a fully new game. No remakes or ports. I said it over and over again, moreso when fanboys were screaming hornily for a MM remake instead (or Miyamoto teasing an ALTTP remake, or now this) ….

    But who am I trying to fool? Mine is an opinion that not a single miserable person will ever support. Not even Nintendo themselves. =/

      What the fark are you talking about? They’re making two new games: Zelda 3DS and Zelda Wii U. T

      Miyamoto said he wanted a “spiritual successor” to ALTTP. That doesn’t mean a remake. And he said it’s not likely to happen any time soon. He also said that they’re not making MM 3D until MAYBE after they make a new 3DS Zelda.

      They’ve also confirmed a Wii U Zelda in the works since before Skyward Sword launched. So….no need to get upset….

    This remake looks beautiful! but I think they should have kept it cell-shaded. It seems like it lost some of its cartoon-like charm

    IF they can do that, they should (in my taste) make a remake on the first legend of zelda. Make Ocarina of Time, Majora’s Mask, and then slap them in a collections pack. People would then buy it.
